In the 1980s, spreadsheet software was far from being as ubiquitous as it is today. It was a luxury that only a privileged few could afford. However, as technology advanced and production costs decreased, spreadsheet software became accessible to everyone. The organizations that recognized the efficiency this software brought about thrived in a highly competitive business market, while those that failed to embrace it met their demise. This principle applies to every technological evolution, including the internet, email, and even Bitcoin.
However, in today's world, many entrepreneurs are still shying away from embracing the power of AI when they should be fully embracing it. It's natural to be skeptical about new technology, especially when it has the potential to disrupt job security. When Excel was first introduced, traditional accountants and professionals resisted it, fearing for their own security. But fast forward to 2023, and the opposite is true.
