Xcelerated Performance: 🎄🎁Christmas Shopping and the Perfect 4 (or 5) Gift Method

Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner?!

Whether you are a planner like myself (and are already done with your shopping) or a procrastinator like most men (who have yet to begin), this 4 Gift method may help alleviate some pressure.

Christmas should be a time of joy, peace, and gratitude. Still, we often find ourselves overextended, stressed out, and focusing on worldly desires rather than appreciating what we have.

It is important to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. As much as Hollywood wants to make our children believe it's about Santa, gifts, and excess, we must set a Biblical standard to live up to. Focusing on just a few gifts can help put the proper perspective in place and set a standard we can easily uphold the following year.

The 4 Gift Method:

The idea is that you only give four gifts to each child: Something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read.

Now, I am the first to admit I can quickly go overboard with gifts. I love gift-giving! AND... I learned this genius four gift method a bit late.... like after I was already done shopping for the season. Oops. But I love this idea and would like to adopt it for next year with one exception or rather addition. I want to add a fifth Gift: Something to experience together i.e. something to make a memory.

Whether your budget is small or large, or your gifts under the tree are few or many, the intention is the same - to show love to those you appreciate most.

Wishing you a Blessed Holiday Season,

Casey
